Hello all I was just wondering if any of you have been to the hotel called Sybaris in Indianapolis? I think they have them in other cities as well. My FI came across it and thought it looked like a neat place to go. I pulled it up on my computer and it looks awesome. It had a pool and hot tub all inside the room. I was wanting to see if it was as nice as it looks in pictures. Thanks in advance

They have them in Chicago as well.  I have driven by the one in Indy and the outside isn't much to look at.  My biggest issue that I had with them is that they have 2 prices one if you are staying the night and one if you only want it for the afternoon. That seemed odd to me.

I've never stayed at one.  DH and I did look into it once...but for as much as the room was for 1 night, we were able to go to Vegas for a long weekend instead.

They do look cool though.

i have heard they are trashy...but i don't know anyone personally who has actually stayed at one, whether overnight or just a few hours...the commercials make it look great though!

I worked with a girl who went to one with her husband. They look sketchy on the outside but she swears its nice on the inside. I just always wondered how well they sanitize the pools and hot tubs. Its known for being a place that people go to have sex. For me, I just always get weirded out the by germ factor.

Thanks guys. Sorry for the late reaction, I'm still trying to get the hang of this site. I would sure hope that they would make sure the beds and things were sanitized each and every time
