What'd you do this weekend?
Anything exciting planned for this week?
Re: Monday Check-In
Happy Monday!
My friend and I saw Chelsea Handler on Friday night and laughed our arses off. If you get a chence to see her live, run don't walk. Unless you're easily offended.
We cried with laughter. She rocks my socks. We worked on the neverending kitchen projects Saturday and Sunday.
I have yoga this week and a few things to do around the house. Finishing some Christmas shopping. I'm mostly just looking forward to next weekend!
It snowed a little bit this morning!
Happy Monday!
This weekend we went to SoCal & took the kids to Disneyland and the Long Beach Aquarium. We had so much fun.
This week is my last week of the semester before school is out. I have my final next Monday. I can not wait!
I'm happy it's Monday because it means finals week is underway and will soon be over!
Friday night, I did homework and went to the gym. DH came home from CSI class in Sac on Saturday and we went to dinner for a friend's bday. I also ran a 5k with my running buddy through Girls on the Run in SF. Sunday was my last soccer game of the season (until Spring), watched some football, and studied.
No real fun plans this week since finals are a priority. DH is off all week, so it'll be nice to have help with the pups and meals. REALLY looking forward to Friday at 3pm=weekend and done with classes for 3 weeks! Woot!
Sat was my sis' shower (I'll post some pics later when I pull them off my camera)... So, I took Fri off to do food prep, make cupcakes, decorate, etc. I ran errands and managed to get a 4mi run in (in my new shoes - yay - but boo because I think I need to exchange them).
Sat was a super busy day on little sleep with more party prep and party hosting, clean up, etc. But, it was VERY fun.
Sunday, church and a dedication service for DH's cousin's baby with a little reception afterward. Then I vegged out and did laundry the rest of the day. Good weekend!
This week... Um... I don't really have anything specific that I'm looking forward to or have planned. Just hoping to relax some after a super busy last 2 weeks.
Jealous doesnt even begin to cut it for me!!! I absolutely love her and tried to see her when she was out here, but sadly it never worked out. Glad you had fun
What'd you do this weekend? Saturday I helped host a 50th birthday party for a family friend. It turned out great and was a lot of fun. Since my brother was home for the weekend, we saw a movie, went out to dinner that night and then hit up some bars. Great night!
Sunday I had to take brother to the aeropuerto and then I did some shopping while hubby was at a shooting competition.
Anything exciting planned for this week? We leave on friday for Disneyland! It will be the first time DH and I have ever been to DL together. He hasnt been in nearly 15 years!!! I'm so excited to go with him, plus sunday is my birthday!
We didn't do much outside the house! We cleaned and got stuff together for LO's arrival in the next couple weeks. I went through several bags of clothes that were given to us by a friend. We cleaned the entire house...and I mean the entire house! We also put together the baby swing and the bouncy seat. Sunday we did a bit of Christmas shopping.
Today, I'm watching my best friend's daughter for a few hours and then we have a dr. appointment this afternoon. Hopefully we'll be discussing a version to see if we can flip the little man over this week. We'll see how that goes. Later this week we have our last class before LO arrives also. Just really looking forward to meeting our little man and honestly...not being pregnant anymore for awhile!
What'd you do this weekend? Had my company holiday party despite being sick. It was good. I am kind of sick of these things since I plan them but everyone had a good time.
Yesterday I was a bum but DH put up the Christmas lights w/o shocking himself so I call it a success. I did manage to wrap some gifts too!
Anything exciting planned for this week? Hopefully get rid of this cold. Then get rest of the gifts I need for my family.
Had a busy weekend...Friday night did Hannukah dinner with fam. Saturday, finished up some photogift projects for Christmas and did some chores around the house. Got a much needed pedicure. Did some more holiday shopping. DH treated me to a yummy sushi dinner. Sunday, went for a nice walk and cheered on the CIM runners (saw Stef!). Then went to a funeral. Wrapped up the weekend with another Hannukah celebration with family and friends and hugged my loved ones a little bit tighter.
This week.....baking, shopping, wrapping, holiday dinner with friends, cookies exchange with friends, family shopping weekend next weekend...really looking forward to a fun, event-filled week!
Happy Monday!
This weekend we had a Hanukkah party, a Holiday party, and then an Advent party on Sunday.
We did all our shopping for the 4 kids we sponsor for Christmas minus the brush.
I also cleaned up our bedroom (minus closet) and most of the guest room (which is good as we have guests coming on Thursday night.
I am looking forward to the weekend, yeah, lame, but because I am going to be able to do the things I wanna do, as DH is going to be out of town.
Hello!
Friday night - vegged out.
Saturday - DH was grumpy after his optometrist appointment so I had some alone time running errands and shopping for some gifts. We went to an ornament exchange party at one of my aunt & uncle's house, with their circle of friends. Aside from one of my cousins, we were the youngest ones there
Took home two cool ornaments
Sunday - we had plans to go hiking up in Mt. Diablo, but it was Murphy's Law. As soon as we closed the doors to our car, the rain started coming down. Since we don't have rain gear to hike in and did not want to get soaked, we opted for lunch at Black Bear Diner.
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
Anything exciting planned for this week? Nothing exciting until the weekend.
It was a busy weekend. We went Christmas tree shopping, brought in the decorations, went to a christmas party, went to Harry Potter, mass, target.
I have 2 parent conferences this week. (about 5 parents wanted them but I'm sorry, it's the week before finals, I'm not having a parent conference every day!) Friday's DH's work party at McCormick and Kuetto's in SF and Sunday's the big nestie cookie exchange.
What'd you do this weekend? i'm so pooped that i can't even remember friday night. oh, wait, i went to first friday here in san jose with my sister, which is a bunch of open art galleries, etc., and it was so fun! who knew san jose had something so cool? i went up to san francisco w/ my bff to go to a few craft fairs and just generally hang on saturday. it was so fun! we hadn't done that kind of thing in ages. of course i left my purchases in the trunk of her car and we didn't realize it until after i was on caltrain on the way home. yeah. yesterday drew and i rearranged our bedroom and man, what an improvement. we used the config he wanted originally and i vetoed, so naturally he gloated and generally teased me.
then we went over to the neighbors for dinner and the steelers game. way to kick the ravens' asses, black and gold!
Anything exciting planned for this week? not exactly exciting but i'll be busy. drew left for his biz trip this am. i need to clean the house and get things in order for our xmas party on saturday night, esp since i have a writing workshop saturday afternoon. i also need to bake cookies for the cookie exchange and decorate the house. i'll be glad when drew gets home on friday and can help out!
This weekend was the tail end of our vacation so it was kind of a blur. We put up the tree Saturday and dh did tons of lights outside, but we haven't gotten around to decorating the tree yet. Went to a football party last night and I ate too many potato chips and am paying for it.
I've been baking, baking, baking for Habitat's holiday thankyous: buckeyes, peanut butter bars, spritz, chocolate crinkles and peppermint and chocolate shortbread.
Today is my last day of vacation and we go to look at houses with our realtor this afternoon.
