Need good photo-sharing site rec

... for sharing a bunch of pics with someone who's not on FB. I'm preferably looking for a site where the person WON'T have to create a user name/password and sign in to see my pics. I just want to be able to send him a link that goes right to an album. There used to be lots of sites like this back in the early 2000s, do they not exist anymore? It seems like nowadays, you always have to "sign in" to view someone's album.

And I guess I could send him a link to my FB album, even if he's not on FB, but I'd prefer not to.

Thanks for any help!

  • How about Picasa on Google?  I use that for all my pictures..there is a web version and desktop version.  I have used it for years, and really like it.

  • I think Shutterfly allows sharing w/o signing in to see.

  • I use snapfish and Walgreens. I know that you can send links through emails for either and they do not have to sign up they can just view the album. Even if you send an invite to share your album on FB they still have to sign up, unless they have changed that recently.

See, I've always been a walgreens user but when I send those albums out, they HAVE required my recipients to sign up and view them :( And someone just sent me a snapfish album and I had to sign up. Well, let me try those sites again, maybe I'm doing something wrong.

And I'll look into picassa and shutterfly too, thanks ladies!

  • I'm pretty sure that if you make an album public on Photobucket, that anyone can view it and they don't have to sign to see it.

  • I ended up making a snapfish album and it seems to work out. I emailed an invite to myself, and there was an option I could un-check so that my recipients wouldn't have to log in to view the album. I tested it out, and when you click on the link, you can view the album as a guest without logging in. Yay :)
