reselling my wedding dress
any suggestions of a place to resell my wedding dress. i recently got divorced and have no use for it and figured that someone might as well have a crack at it. it was a beautiful gown (im sure every bride would say that about her gown though!) and i don't need it sitting in my closet in its box. thanks! i am located about half way between indy and fort wayne.
Re: reselling my wedding dress
I tried to sell mine after my engagement fell through. The dress was brand new, still "in style" never worn, and I was told by a dress resale shop that they would sell the dress for half of what I paid, and pay me half of that. So for a $1200 dress, they would only give me $300. But to get that much I had to have the dress drycleaned and pressed (which would have cost me $250).
Your best bet is to sell it on craigslist or Ebay. Good luck!
You could also donate your dress if you have no luck selling it.
