Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I was typing a response to someone on the students board on TK and noticed, fleetingly, that she was from Baltimore. I then opened up Facebook, because I got an e-mail saying I had a message, and on my 'people you may know' there was a girl from Baltimore with the same first initial and last name as the screen name of the poster.
It may not be the same person (her screen name may not even be her initials and last name), but it was FREAKY. It made me feel like Facebook is stalking me in a big way.
I've had weird things happen before where two people are friends on FB that I know for two very different reasons, and it surprises me that they know each other, but this reminded me of how the ads on some sites know what you've been browsing. It was weird.
