POLL: what does your DH want for X-mas?
when i ask my DH, he says he's still thinking about it. i really don't want to guess this year.
Re: POLL: what does your DH want for X-mas?
Way more than I am willing to get him...lol
Leather boots
winter jacket
slippers
wrench extension
table saw
watch
altometerthingy....something to measure electric currents..lol
He wants a pair of diamond stud earrings.
I should be asking for those not him... oh well... He does wear earrings more often that I do though.
DH doesn't really know either. I made a mental list of small things he had randomly mentioned over the past couple of months, which I'm sure he has forgotten.
Here is what I got mine.
A tv series called The Pacific (history type show Band of Brothers-ish I think) - on Amazon it was super cheap.
Some long sleeved casual shirts
New gym shoes
A subscription to Nat'l Geographic (also cheap on Amazon)
Razor refills
Jim Gaffigan dvd
Hangover dvd
New gloves

He says he doesn't want anything. But I have a secret shopping plan! Last year I read about a family where the parents gave each other and the kids 4 presents (plus stocking stuffers): something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read. With those four categories, all of a sudden the "hard to shop for" quality of husbands goes away!
I'm getting my DH a coffee table book I had made of the pictures he took while biking and hiking this year, a larger toolbox, a pair of corduroy pants, and Earth: The Book. Although he hasn't specifically asked for any of those things, he has mentioned liking all of them at different points this year.
He didn't specifically ask for anything, but I got him a hooded robe (he's always been jealous of mine), Lego sets, South Park seasons, books on CD, and a page-a-day Playboy cartoon calendar.
Well my DH wasn't too hard to shop for this year! He makes comments throughout theyear of what he wants/likes and I make a mental note whenevr I hear him say it! So here's what he's got so far
1. Gift card to Academy (he wants a new scope for his gun)
2. Call of Duty -Black Ops
3. An Mp3 player that has FM radio (so he can listen to it while he cus grass and "stuff" -his own words!)
4. Tools
5. Random stuff for his stocking..... thinking I'm probly going to get him something else, just not sure what exactly!
We just got married in June and got so much from the wedding we are both having trouble coming up with what we want for Christmas, so I decided to get him something fun-a mini pool table! It was less than $35 on Amazon! ($55 after shipping, but hey, that's not too bad considering they usually run about twice that) It has really short legs, but will fit nicely on our dining room table. He loves to play pool, but doesn't like that you have to go out to do it and we don't have room for a full size table, so its perfect! They also have mini ping pong and air hockey tables too if your guy is into something like that.
If your guy has a PS3 I highly recommend getting the PS3 Move (playstation's version of the Wii)-we just got it and it is so interactive and fun, and the best part is that you're spending time doing things together, rather than watching him play video games.
Hope this helps!
Dh had a big list because as he mentions things throughout the year, I put them on a note in my phone so at this time I can just look and not try to figure things out. Problem is now i have too many ideas.
