  • KINGS tickets, DH likes to cook so a meat thermometer, kitchen scale, long pjs, a new DVD player, and a gift card to game stop. He already bought the new Xbox and has all of the new games. However, I bought him his Christmas presents before he gave me the list so this list was mainly for other family members. :)
  • he wants a PS3 and thats what i got him this past weekend...its nicely wrapped under our tree and he's dying to open it! hehehe

  • Mainly Blueray movies, but I got him an "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia" tshirt as a surprise.  Plus socks, boxers, etc etc.  Men are so not fun to shop for.
  • He wants a pair of diamond stud earrings.

I should be asking for those not him... oh well... He does wear earrings more often that I do though.Huh?

  • DH doesn't really know either.  I made a mental list of small things he had randomly mentioned over the past couple of months, which I'm sure he has forgotten. Big Smile

  • Here is what I got mine.

A tv series called The Pacific (history type show Band of Brothers-ish I think) - on Amazon it was super cheap.

    Some long sleeved casual shirts

    New gym shoes

A subscription to Nat'l Geographic (also cheap on Amazon)

    Razor refills

    Jim Gaffigan dvd

    Hangover dvd

    New gloves

  • I agree with PP - Boys are so not fun to shop for.  DH wants car parts for our classic car that he's restoring.  Which, is super fun for him, but super boring and dirty for me to have to go buy.  I also got him PJ pants, slippers, a driving cap (which he's really been wanting), and a usb plug in refrigerator that holds one can of soda. haha.

  • We just purchased a home, so DH has been bugging me non-stop to get a dog for christmas.

  • He wants a bike helmet and a trench coat.  Check, check and check.  (I got him two helmets--one for commuting, the other for riding--which is why I added the extra "check.")
  • DH really wanted a new Ipod after his died. He had figured out that I was going to buy it for him when I made him choose which one out of the sales ad. Well the morning they went on sale i woke up late, and didn't get to the store right away, but when I went that afternoon they still had some SCORE!! He thinks I didn't get it b/c i got there too late So he's trying to tell me other things he'd like instead. He wants a ski rack, books, and really to just be home with me and the kids on Christmas morning this year( not looking too promising though.. he works & lives 5 hours away)

  • he wanted a new motorcycle jacket
  • DH wants a new pair of Tony Lama boots. The pair he decided on is backordered until March!  Instead of that we got tickets to see Garth Brooks in December and Brad Paisley in February.  I'll get some little stuff for his stocking too - golf balls, a card game, candy, etc.

  • A golf organizer that he can put both of hit sets of golf clubs on. I also got him some golf balls and a Chipotle gift card. And I will give him some lovin lol
  • He says he doesn't want anything.  But I have a secret shopping plan!  Last year I read about a family where the parents gave each other and the kids 4 presents (plus stocking stuffers): something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read.  With those four categories, all of a sudden the "hard to shop for" quality of husbands goes away!

I'm getting my DH a coffee table book I had made of the pictures he took while biking and hiking this year, a larger toolbox, a pair of corduroy pants, and Earth: The Book.  Although he hasn't specifically asked for any of those things, he has mentioned liking all of them at different points this year.

  • My husband's birthday was on Saturday, and we agreed to do larger gifts for birthdays instead of Christmas.  I got him the new Amazon Kindle and he loves it.  I can't get him away from it!
  • He didn't specifically ask for anything, but I got him a hooded robe (he's always been jealous of mine), Lego sets, South Park seasons, books on CD, and a page-a-day Playboy cartoon calendar.

  • So far - Not much a few CD's he wanted and a food dehydrator..(yes he wanted it) We did decide to get a dog - she will be joining us in Jan. So, I may pick him up some stuff for her.
  • Well my DH wasn't too hard to shop for this year! He makes comments throughout theyear of what he wants/likes and I make a mental note whenevr I hear him say it! So here's what he's got so far

    1. Gift card to Academy (he wants a new scope for his gun)

    2. Call of Duty -Black Ops

    3. An Mp3 player that has FM radio (so he can listen to it while he cus grass and "stuff" -his own words!)

    4. Tools

    5. Random stuff for his stocking..... thinking I'm probly going to get him something else, just not sure what exactly!

  • I love the four gifts idea!! Thank you so much for sharing. :)
  • We just got married in June and got so much from the wedding we are both having trouble coming up with what we want for Christmas, so I decided to get him something fun-a mini pool table!  It was less than $35 on Amazon! ($55 after shipping, but hey, that's not too bad considering they usually run about twice that) It has really short legs, but will fit nicely on our dining room table. He loves to play pool, but doesn't like that you have to go out to do it and we don't have room for a full size table, so its perfect! They also have mini ping pong and air hockey tables too if your guy is into something like that.

If your guy has a PS3 I highly recommend getting the PS3 Move (playstation's version of the Wii)-we just got it and it is so interactive and fun, and the best part is that you're spending time doing things together, rather than watching him play video games.

     Hope this helps!

  • I took him to a few stores and made him take pictures of stuff he thinks is cool on his picture phone. Now I have a whole photo library of gift options! He wants anything from hot chili sauce for making Asian food to beer making supplies, but now I won't forget anything because I've got pictures w/ the prices in the shot. It's one of the best things we've thought of!
  • I like to get him lots of little things - like tshirts of his favorite sports team, his favorite candy, D&D gift certificates and coffe, gadgets - anything I see that makes me think of him
  • Dh had a big list because as he mentions things throughout the year, I put them on a note in my phone so at this time I can just look and not try to figure things out. Problem is now i have too many ideas.
