Bakeries in Pewaukee?

My Gpa just passed away saturday (its ok, really it was a blessing) anyway my Gma's bday is this saturday & we don't want to send her flowers b/c she has a plethora of them at home since my Gpa passed....

She is a chocoholic though, I sent her a bag of new Dove peppermint candies & she called me to rave about them for 10 minutes! She's too cute. Anyway, Im drawing at straws here trying to come up with some unique idea to send her that is food related; specifically, chocolate or cookies.

I looked into Edible arrangements, but its all chocolate covered fruit & I don't want to send her something that might spoil or whatever.

My parents & my brother still live in Mke so Im drilling them for ideas, but of course I had to hop online & quiz my local nesties for help!

So, Im looking for either some place that makes cookies, or chocolates...& will deliver them. I found a couple cake shops in the area...but Im partial to "personal" recommendations!!

TIA for any ideas you can help me out with!

Re: Bakeries in Pewaukee?

  • I know there is a bakery right across from Pewaukee Lake called Cakes While You Wait.  From what I have heard, they have amazing cakes!  I've had other things from there and never have been disappointed! Big Smile
  • I saw that!!! They advertise that they are the Ace of Cakes of WI!!! Im really interested, but I don't know if they deliver! I suppose I could call & find out..explain my situation...maybe they'll do me a "favor"! Or, Im sure someone in my family could swing by & pick it up on their way to visit my Gma.....

    Thanks!

    I ordered DH's groom's cake from there:

And, while it wasn't the BEST cake I've ever had in my life, it was good, and they were very easy to work with as well.
