Although I haven't seen him for TMJ, here is some info from my dentist. P and I both love him and he is a TMJ specialist.

it's funny you ask about this... I was just diagnosed with TMJ this week. I have been experiencing a lot of discomfort in my jaw lately and it has bothered me to chew, yawn, sneeze, etc. The dentist took x-ray pictures of my jaw and showed me where the TMJ disorder is. They are making a mouth piece for me to wear every night and as much as possible during the day. I am not looking forward to that, but if it helps lessen the discomfort and hopefully fix the problem then I'm all for it.
