The passing of Elizabeth Edwards

I totally cried when I heard she passed away last night.

I think it has something to do with recently losing my grandma.

Either way, very unfortuante for her, and her family. I know she has a young child, I think like 10 or 11. I can't imagine what they are going thru.

Re: The passing of Elizabeth Edwards

  • She was an amazingly strong woman.  I don't know if you knew but she had the mistress and the baby over for all the holidays to help blend the family, so the kids would be more adjusted.  I don't think I would ever have the strength to do that.

  • No! I didnt know that. And I don't think I would have the strength to do that either.
  • She was such an advocate for womans health. And it just goes to show, you can never, ever be too careful with your health and wellness. Her passing reminded me that i have not had a "female" check-up in sometime (bc i dont have health insurance) and that its probably a good idea to get on that, asap. Rest in peace Elizabeth.

  • I was surprised how soon it was after her statement to stop treatment.  So sad.
