So I checked my smoke detector last night

HA! Stupid oven was barely smoking and the thing went off. I hate it when butter or oil make the oven smokey.

Scared the bajesus out of B2.

Re: So I checked my smoke detector last night

  • i hate that... it's annoying.

i told j that we needed to check ours and make sure that we have new batteries in them.

    Kris....I'm finally a Mrs! 10/11/08
  • At least it works :)

Ours kept going off at DH's grandma's during Thanksgiving and Alex kept saying "Get low and go" which is what we taught him to do in case of a fire.  I've heard too many sad stories of kids that hide when they smell smoke or there is a fire.

  • My bro is the chief of fire prevention in Maumee and is Alex's #1 favorite person, so I think that has helped him learn what to do too.
