Dinner is delcious tonight...YUMMY

Katy posted a while back this chicken n peppers pasta recipe from Kraft.  I've made it once before.  This time around I made it without the chicken because I dont really care for chicken mixed in with red sauce all that much.  YUMMY it really hit the spot tonight.

I dont follow the recipe to a tee with measurements and stuff, I just do it. I make a full box of pasta because I like the leftovers. I did add (as Katy suggested)  two spoonfuls of ricotta cheese as well, just delicious!!!!

Chicken N Peppers Pasta for Two

What You Need

1 cup rotini pasta, uncooked
1/2 lb.  boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
1/2 cup thin green pepper strips
1/4 cup  chopped onions
1 cup spaghetti sauce
1/4 cup  KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package; drain. Set aside.

MEANWHILE, spray large skillet with cooking spray. Add chicken; cook on medium heat 5 min., stirring occasionally. Add peppers and onions; cook 3 to 5 min. or until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.

ADD spaghetti sauce and pasta; mix well. Cook until heated through, stirring occasionally. Top with cheese; cover. Let stand 2 to 3 min. or until cheese is melted.

  • that does sound yummy! I am making Katy's hash brown casserole tonight haha. It was going to be pork chops & sweet potatoes but after having everyone talk about it today, I'm making it tonight and having sweet potatoes with chicken tomorrow. It will be ready in about 5 minutes, I can't wait!
  • I'm making chicken corn chowder tonight... it's on the stove now and smells SUPER yummy!
