Update
Some of you may remember that I asked for T&P's for my Aunt last month. At the time they thought that she had cancer, and then cirrhosis of the liver from something unknown. My Aunt passed away on Monday. My Uncle and cousin were on their way to a class to learn how to care for someone that's received a liver transplant Monday morning when the hospital called to tell them not to go, that my Aunt wouldn't make it through the day. I was able to leave work and be there. She had been in a coma since the Saturday after Thanksgiving and never woke up. Sunday night her organs started failing and Monday morning all of them had failed.
My family is devastated. The hospital still doesn't know what caused her liver to fail as they have ruled out cancer and cirrhosis. They're doing an autopsy to try and figure it out and as soon as they're done we will have services for her. I just can't believe it. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers over the last month.
