Top Chef (spoilers and such)

Who was swearing up a storm at the end? Was that Jen as she left?

Re: Top Chef (spoilers and such)

  • I think so,  I'm bummed.  Also, I've decided that, like unmandatory dessert, pork belly is a one way ticket to elimination.  I thought TiffanI's choice of all meat was stupid and her excuse for it stupider.  I've decided I hate Jamie. You get a cut that only needed 2 stiches and you can't stick it out for 90 minutes? Go home.  I hate the Jonases and their squealing fans.

  • I didn't even realize this had started.  Since Tivo is so smart, it picked it up.  My H and I then sat there and "argued" about if this was a new season or not.  He thought Tivo was picking up repeats.  That is my very exciting Top Chef story.

Any who, I liked Jen, but she seems to be a bit nutty.  On her first season, it took her, like half of the season to show any sort of personality.  Last night, she's telling the judges that they don't know anything.  No matter what Collicio (sp) says, you argue with the judges, you pack your knives.

I was hoping Jamie was gone.  This cast is fiesty.  I like it.

  • I looked down at my sewing for a second and when I looked up there was the swearfest, but they were just showing the stew room and not who was talking.

Jaime. Man. Suck it up for a couple minutes. And then she had the nerve to be all, "At this point it's not even my dish, I'm just her sous chef." I didn't mind her on her season but she's bugging the crap out of me this time.

And so is Blais, for that matter. I thought he was funny and kind of quirky on his season, but every damn quote from him this time is about how awesome he is. We get it. You fuccked up your finale. Just be awesome this time to prove how awesome you are and shut the fucck up about it.

  • Yeah, it was Jen throwing a temper tantrum when she left the room.

I really liked Blais on his first season, and was bummed when he self destructed during the finale.  But, that just makes it really hard for me to be on his side.  I'm just waiting for him to break under the pressure again.

  • I was cringing while Jen was arguing with the judges.  I really hate that, because I had her pegged to go a long way.  It was like the lack of sleep made her lose her mind.

    Jamie's attitude sucks.

  • In the dictionary, under "punk out," there is a picture of Jamie.  She knew the ingredients were fukced, and therefore the dish was fukced, so she bailed for the sake of plausible deniability.  What a little snake.

    Bingo.

Also, Jen was just over the top and tweaky.  I wouldn't be surprised if she was coked up.

  • Yeah, it may have just been the lack of sleep, but she was crazy.

  • I just can't get over how bad Fabio looks.
