* Newbie in the Danbury Area*
Hey girls. I just got married in August in RI, and moved to Danbury in May. Being so busy with the wedding that we were going back to RI every weekend.
So now our life can get back to normal. Does anyone know of any good bars..more like Martini bars and/or twenty something bar. also for good restaurants.
Also is there any good stuff happening around Candlewood Lake. We have gone to one small beach here in Danbury and also have been to Down The Hatch in Brookfield
Any other info about the area would be great..

Welcome to the area! I used to live in Danbury and my DH still works in that area and many of our friends are out that way.
There are several good restaurants on Mill Plain Rd (between exits 2 and 4), our favorite is Prespa. They have really good food and I really like the bar, it is def. a "trendier" place.

I also recently went to Koo, it is an Asian fusion restaurant. Also a nice place to meet for drinks. The address is: 29 East Pembroke Rd, Danbury CT. It is off exit 6.
We also like Ichiro on Newtown Rd, always fun to go to with a group.
