We may have found a place to live!

DH is an awesome househunter ... he zeroed in on this great house a few days ago, and we submitted an application yesterday.

It's 4 br, 3 ba, with a daylight basement, huge deck and totally renovated kitchen/downstairs. It's also on a cul-de-sac, and our potential neighbors are retired folk who have lived there for 40+years.

It's at the bottom end of our price range (meaning about $600 less than we were paying in Santa Cruz) and 10 minutes away from my work ... a great value.

So we'll see! I have no idea what we'll do with the fourth bedroom (after the master, DSS's room and a guest room), but if you're going to have a problem, I guess that's the one to have!

Also, I just wanted to say hi. I have a bit less time to post at the new job, complicated by some computer issues over the past couple days. I miss you guys!

Re: We may have found a place to live!

  • Sounds great!  Good luck!  (We use the 4th bedroom as a mancave/sewing room/library)
  • lots of house dust to you! We used the extra room (it's really a half room) as an office so we have a place to do our household banking, J can study for school and we can work from home.
  • Hope you get it!  Sounds like things are better with DH, too?

The fourth room would be a study for us, or in my wildest dreams a craft room for me :)

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Things are better, thanks. Trust doesn't rebuild overnight, but he's doing a great job staying on the straight-and-narrow, and I'm starting to relax again. I think the move really helped ... getting out of the old enviornment, you know?
