Another Christmas gift question

I usually don't do this, but I really want to give our trash guys something for Christmas.  There's 3 of them and they come by 4 times a week for different pick ups.  They are like rock stars to Caroline and wave and honk at her whenever we're outside to wave at them.  She gets so excited to see the truck every single time. The best thing about them is that they don't just chuck the bins and cans anywhere, they are always neatly placed back on the driveway with the lid on top of the can or inside the recycle bin.  I've even seen them walk the recycle bin back down the driveway to an elderly neighbor's house instead of leaving it at the street.  I love my trash guys!

So, I kind of want to give them just a small something.  My first thought is to bake them something, but I don't know how they would feel about eating something a stranger made, so I don't think I want to do that.

Any ideas?

I usually leave the trash men a case of beer around the holidays or when we have an excessive amount of trash. Baking something is a nice thought but I would have the same concern as you. Maybe you could leave a box of store bought donuts or muffins.

I really like the case of beer idea, personally. I'm sure they would happily accept cash in a card as well.

My initial thought was a GC to a local convenience store so they could get coffee and/or donuts.  I also like the beer idea but you never know if they drink or not.

I agree with the Beer.  My mom used to do that with our trash guys and the mailman!
