Daddy to be books

Hey there 

A few months ago I asked the bumpies for dad book recs, and I may or may not have lost my list.  LOL

Ya, thats right......Casey still hasn't started reading anything, but I can't exactly be mad b/c I've barely touched my pregnancy book since I bought it.  We're both going to dive in to baby prep starting this weekend (thank God the semester is finally over)!

So....mama's and mama's to be, what did/are your hubbies reading?  TIA ladies!

DH didn't read anything. I bought "Your Pregnancy Week to Week" and every Tuesday would read what I could expect with the new week I had just turned, but that is all we read/did to prep.

i bought don "my boys can swim" which was supposed to be pretty funny, he never read it of course. nor did he read the others i bought for him, but i've heard good thing about the boys can swim book

Please note (as I've been a GP nestie going on 2 years) my recomendation is listed on the link which Jenn posted.

Its the everything father to be book by Kevin Nelson. Its an informative and easy read for men. My hubby likes it and trust me thats saying something. Also we have the what to expect while your expecting app on our phone and he likes reading the daily tips. (there are some for fathers on it)

This is the only one DH bothered to read and he said it was really funny.  He subscribed to the Bump weekly update and some other sites- it was a lot easier and more effective for him to read a quick blurb once a week than an actual book.

DH didn't read anything either. I read What To Expect When You're Expecting and there were little parts in it for Dad's and whenever I read something I thought he'd want to know or I wanted him to know I would just read it to him. I think he looked up a lot of the questions he had on his own on the internet.

We're slackers and haven't started reading anything I have What to Expect and it has a small dad to be section. After 3 pregnancies though, I got so tired of reading the same section over and over that I forgot to go back to it once I got past that point.

We went to the library last night, and they didn't have ANY dad books; but I did find Babyproofing Your Marriage, so it wasn't a total fail.

Looks like we'll have to hit up eBay and/or Amazon for some daddy books this weekend!

OMG!! Congrats on the baby!! I have not been on here in like 7 months and now all the old Phx nesties are preggo or have new lil babies Sooooo exciting! I really need to get on here more...
