Does anyone else read this one? Today's post was a little crazy. It was all about how she wasn't going to lie to her child about Santa. Then she showed her 4 year old a video of the birth process.
I don't have kids but I dont think Santa is "lying" to them. I mean we are jewish and I plan on keeping up the santa story (mostly because I dont want my kids to spill it to the non-jewish ones, which is what I did in Kindergarden and STILL feel bad about it)
Re: Feminist Breeder Blog?
I'm one big walking guilty conscious but that is another post for another time. Luckily I don't really feel to bad about the Santa thing but my friend who I told likes to remind me of it to this day and recently had a baby and jokingly asked me if I was going to ruin it for her.
Here is the post, I should warn there is a graphic birth video

I agree that parents and kids should have privacy from one another. I don't think birth always has to be in that category.
But I think birth should always, always be kept private from one's blog readers. Always. I did NOT need to see the still shot that was chosen from that video.
The nerve!

In general she is pretty self righteous and I agree that a lot of what she believes in is great stuff (breast feeding, natural birth) but the way she judges those who don't agree or can't agree makes me a little annoyed. She also wants to do a home birth which I find nuts oh but I like doctors and such.
Yes, because not everyone mentions things about themselves frequently on here? It is a huge part of my life, not the only part but a really big part of it. It plays into what I'm talking about also, it isn't like we are talking about books and I'm like "you know, I'm Jewish"
Sorry about the video shot... I didn't actually play the video when I read the blog.
