More ideas needed. This time - medicines

We took down the awful medicine cabinet that was in the half bathroom, and now I can't figure out what to do with all of our medicine and first aid stuff.

I've thought about getting one of those plastic storage drawer rolling cart things and putting it in the office with the other ones that we have.  But, I don't know if I'm sold on it.

What do you guys do?

I keep all medicine in the small cabinets above the microwave (similar style to the cabinets above a fridge) and our first aid goes in a drawer in the master bathroom vanity.

Is there room in the half bath to put up a shelf that can hold little baskets for the stuff? Something like this (I hope the pip works):

I actually do just what you said.  I have one of those plastic drawer things that we keep meds, first aid stuff in.  each drawer has a diff. stuff in it, labeled (well it used to be).  I started this when I was in college.  I always called it my "pharmacy" since I always had pretty much any type of OTC meds you might need in there.

  My parents always had it in a cabinet up high in the kitchen (mostly I think it was so when I was little I coudln't get into it).  And I've seen a few others that do this as well.

I certainly could use a cabinet in the kitchen, because we certainly have plenty of them.  But, the upper ones are even a little high for me to comfortably reach.

I could hang up shelves in the bathroom, but I don't want to.  We've already got all of the decor done in there and shelves aren't a part of it.

I think for now I would probably do the plastic drawer storage.  The only thing with that is that when kids come, you'll have to do something to make sure it would be out of their reach, part of the reason I suggested the kitchen cabinet.  Do you have any type of linen closet that you could put the drawers in?

we have a medicine cabinet in our bathroom but have always kept our medicine in a cabinet in the kitchen :P

When kids come along, you can switch the meds for the linens -- it's perfectly safe (albeit messy) for their hands to get into those! We keep our meds in a small kitchen cabinet that's too small for anything else and our first aid is on a high shelf in the bathroom closet.
