I'm just *slightly* ;-) freaking out about the monthly payment amount for my student loans. Mind you, it is for both undergraduate and graduate school loans, but it's still an absurd number! So, here is a poll:

Re: student loan payments
I think my answer disappeared?
Anyway, don't feel badly. DH's student loans (from two private schools) are disgusting (at least for another 7.5 years or until we decide to pay them off.) At least the interest rate is really low and he enjoys his job as much as he enjoys any job
I answered for myself. My payment isn't much over $100 a month.
However, when DH graduates from PA school next year we'll be paying much more due to his graduate school loans. Basically, we'll have the equivalent of a luxury car loan, except we will still be driving 10 year old vehicles.
This is us...granted, our mortgage is absurdly low, my payments are sooo much higher than our mortgage.
