Snowed In

So I was suppose to head up to the Twin Cities in Minn. tomorrow for a cheer competition but we cancelled our trip because the weather is so bad here. We're in a blizzard warning and we already have a lot of snow and I have a HUGE drift in front of my door.
So it looks like I'll be staying inside the entire weekend. Anyone else around here in the midwest area and snowed in?

eep! we aren't in the midwest right now, but our family is...and we'll be headed back there exactly a week from today!! Hopefully the roads aren't too bad as we get closer to home!

We're in Nebraska. Not a ton of snow yet, but it's very, very windy. So I'm sure whatever snow we get will be drifting. Sorry you had to cancel your trip

I'm in Illinois. We currently aren't getting any snow, but are under a winter weather advisory until Mon. morning.  It was warm this morning, and the temp is quickly dropping.  It's raining now and it is expected to turn to ice, and then later snow.  It looks like the front is going farther north than they originally thought, so our 6 - 12 in of snow they were calling for has been changed to 3 - 4 in.  They are also calling for high winds with blowing and drifting snow.  Yuck yuck and yuck.  I hate winter weather!!!!

My Sis & BIL live outside MSP...they have a 2 foot snow drift on their back deck with more snow falling.   Apparently MSP airport closed b/c of the snow!

Yep, we're right there with you (Illinois too).  I'm going to stay in most of the day!  I let the dog out and the wind is just ferocious!  We had that storm go through yesterday with the rain then freezing rain/sleet stuff then snow.  What wonderful weather we get here!  Blah.

We in PA were supposed to get some snow yesterday but it turned out to be all rain due to temps being in the 50's!  Enjoy your snow guys and stay warm and dry!

We are in WI and we also got snowed in on Saturday We got a total of 16 inches by Sunday and the snowdrifts were horrible! We had 50 mph winds...my poor dog wouldn't even go outside to go potty! LOL
