What to bring to a "crawl"/open house

Our neighborhood is having a holiday crawl.  There are about 4 houses involved.  It is just like a pub crawl.  Everyone hosting said do not bring anything, they have it covered.  I feel weird not brining something and would normally bring a bottle of wine. but, we will be walking to each house so can't really walk around with 4 bottle of wine waiting to give to each house.

Anyone ever do one of these? Did you bring something? is there something small that I could carry to each house? or shoudl I just not bring anything?

Re: What to bring to a "crawl"/open house

  • you could offer to be a 5th stop...but really i wouldn't worry about it, each host is probably providing just a few drinks/snacks so it's probably not too much on anyone person...just send a nice thank you note to each one after
  • Maybe the day before or after take a poinsettia over.  You can get any size at any price point.

  • I'd take a little box of homemade cookies or something over to each house the day after the crawl, with a verbal or little thanks for hosting note.

    This is a great idea!
