Re: indicanoe

  • Me three! Hazel was my great grandmother's name. Love it!
    Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers
    Lilypie First Birthday tickers
  • Such a pretty name! Love it. Very similar to the girl's name that I would like my future daughter to be named (if I ever have a girl)...Dahlia.
  • Aww, thanks ladies!! DH actually picked her name, I was originally pushing for Hazel as her first but as soon as he suggested Delia, I was sold and happily settled for Hazel as the second name. One of his reasons for choosing it was the song by Johnny Cash. It certainly isn't the happiest song and I hope she doesn't hear it until she is older, but we love the name regardless.

It was kind of funny I went to the Maine Mall for the first time in years on Friday and had no idea they had a Delia's store in there. I am thinking after she comes and I lose some of my extra weight I may just go buy one of their logo t-shirts.

MaineIslandBride- I love the name Dahlia too, I actually knew a set of twins once and their names were Dahlia and Lily....
