Rec your realtor please!

Hey all!! DH and I are moving out to Portland next summer, but we are taking a trip out there in November to check out the city and figure out where we want to live. We are hoping to meet up with a realtor in November who can show us some houses. We want to stay in Portland if possible, as DH will be attending Lewis and Clark for law school.

We have no idea where to even start in finding a realtor, so any help is appreciated.

I've used this realtor three times. Once to buy my first house, then to sell that house and finally to buy a new house. His name is C. Morgan Davis and he is with Keller Williams. He and his team (Nancy, Trevor, Jenni) are wonderful. They really know all the neighborhoods and make sure that you get your money's worth. Check them out. Just do a google search for C. Morgan Davis and you'll find their web address and contact info.

Amy Savage with A Group Realty is a great realtor!!! She is awesome, friendly, and does a great job. She also works with a great mortgage guy, Dave Cook. The two of them are so helpful, even if you just want to talk about the area, there is never any pressure with either of them. Good luck!

Diane VanHandel with Keller Williams. She is fantastic, very friendly, and really knows Portland and Vancouver (she's licensed in both OR and WA). She usually deals with very high end homes, so she gives "million dollar service" no matter what your price range. I highly highly recommend her. Shecalls us about every 9-12 months "just to say Hi", and when we bought our house, she searched high and low to find 2 garage door openers that were compatible with our garage system, then she climbed up on a huge ladder and changed the code for us. Little things like that, are why we use her and reccomend her.
