Anything you'd suggest adding?
12 people including one pescatarian, 7pm holiday party at my house, everything will be set out buffet style either on the dining room table or the wetbar in the living room. People will be coming from work and will be at our place for a few hours, so they need to have enough to equal a meal.
Mixed lettuce, goat cheese, pear salad
spinach dip (it's often served as a casserole, I'm serving it with pita chips as an appetizer)
cheese tray
vegetable tray with dip
stuffed mushrooms (three varieties)
appetizer sized crabcakes
meatballs in crockpot
shrimp with cocktail sauce
cheese puffs
soft drinks
wine
liquor to make two specific cocktails (or mix whatever they want)
cake
candy
cookies
Anything you'd suggest adding?
ETA - I'll probably have chips and peanuts out, too.
Re: Menu for 7pm holiday party
Hmm... I had to arrange things visually to see what you really had.
Light apps
Veggies & dip
Spinach dip
Cheese puffs
Cheese tray
Heavy apps
Meatballs
Crab cakes
Shrimp cocktail
Stuffed mushrooms
I don't know what to do about that salad. It sounds good, but it seems an odd man out to me. I guess I'd leave it.
I approve
Looks good
If you wanted to add something, maybe those chicken satay stickers everyone's always suggesting.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
ha, the salad was throwing me off too. It sounds good, but odd for the occassion. Something else that stuck out is the cheese puffs and the cheese tray, plus two dips sounded a little dairy heavy. Then again I was also thinking that toasted ravioli sounded good.
So I give a thumbs up. (unless there is a non-dairy something you can think of)
