I'm SO tired. I can't wait to be back home snuggled up on the couch or in bed.

Remember I told you guys my brother had a new girlfriend? He brought her home for Thanksgiving and I really liked her. Found out yesterday that he broke up with her.
SS waited out at his bus stop for 45min for his bus today, which never showed. He came home and I took him to school. Talked to the transportation depart who tells me that no she was there but 20 min late. Really can you prove that to me?!! what no you can't because that bus is one of the few buses that who don't have the GPS tracking on! Oh Gee. This has happened every year. Solution: The bus driver now has to call in when he is at SS bus stop. Yeah we'll see. Doesn't solve that fact that my son was out in 15 degree weather with a 0 degree wind chill. Thank you God for giving my son a strong immune system.

He used it the very first snow we got a few weeks ago, but it was mostly mush. He waiting and waiting. I tried to keep the weather reports away from him. When they say 1-4" and I know that mean maybe 1" for us and he thinks that is 4" and then get disappointed when we don't get enough to snow blow.
I need to figure out a gift idea for my boss. She's really into wine. So I was thinking about getting her a bottle of wine and also either this:

or
Wine wars trivia game

Good morning
My normal work schedule for right now means that I get Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off of work. So, today I'm snuggled down. I have a tiny bit of housework and a bunch of Christmas cards I should do.

Wow I just found out a friend of mine died on Friday. Please keep his family and wife/son in your prayers.
I started to paint my bedroom. I wanted to do it when I bought my house a year ago, and bought the paint last spring, but I just now got around to doing it.
I choose a super dark brown for the accent wall, and a taupe for the rest of the walls, with a cream/white for the trim and furniture.
I matched the brown and taupe to my bedspread.
