Whats a good scotch for $50-$75
So we do secret santa in Jay's family amongst anyone over 18. This is my first year in it and I got his cousin Mike, who is in his early 40's and like super hard to buy for. I asked his sister in law for some ideas and she said either a nice shirt or a bottle of scotch. I figure he would enjoy the scotch more. So I'd like to get him a really nice bottle, our spending limit is like 50-75.
You guys have any suggestions? My dad likes scotch but is a Dewar's drinker.

Well, it can only be called Scotch if it was produced in Scotland, so I'm not sure if that is what you are solely focusing on, but there is a distillery where I am from that the family of a good friend of mine owns.
They produce a beautiful single malt whisky. It's called Glen Breton Rare, and it's won awards and everything. I think you can order it online, but I don't know if it would get there in time. They do sell it at a few liquor stores in NY, they're listed on the website so you can see if any of them are close to you.
