Dexter finale *spoilers*
Thoughts?
I thought it was good! Obviously the ending wasn't as insane as last season's, but what can you expect it would be hard to live up to those expectations again...I'm not mad at it 
No more dark passenger relations though...and it leaves next season open for a totally fresh start after the whole Quinn blood thing. Crazy!
Good thing I am watching Six Feet Under right now, I just started season 3, to get my Michael C. Hall fix.

Dude, I am just SO HAPPY TO BE RID OF LUMEN!!! She and her flat face annoyed the crap out of me. And I hurt so bad for Dex when she told him she was leaving - I called that Sh8t from the beginning though... I am super happy that Astor and Cody are going to be spending some time with Dex this summer and that now that Quinn is off his back (even though he knows what's going on), he'll have some uninterrupted time to spend with all three kids.
And I was completely floored when Deb turned and walked away. I literally got up and cheered in my living room. I knew there was a reason why she was watching those DVDs over and over again.
What I didn't like this season was Emily's character and Jordan's character. I felt like neither one of them were believable.
I will just have you know, I am not a TV person. I never watch TV at all and besides The Sopranos, Dexter is the only show that's ever captured my interest to this point (but this season I did love Boardwalk Empire too, especially Michael Pitt...mmmmmm).

So wait, can we discuss how Deb knows it was Dexter? Did anyone catch how she said "You must be happy too, now that this is all over." That means she knows it was him, right?!?!?
I am so glad to be rid of Lumen!
Holy balls! (As Deb might say!) I didn't catch that the first time, but now that you say this - ahhhh! And looking back she must have seen the dvd of Lumen #13 before Dexter stole it. I am totally going to watch it again tonight!
OMG, DH and I were thinking the same thing! I mean, what else could she have been talking about??
I'm actually a little sad to see Lumen go. After she stopped screwing things up, I was happy that Dex had a sidekick. And yeah, it broke my heart to see him get rejected like that. I'm wondering if they'll somehow manage to bring her back in a future season just to mess with him.
Overall, I thought it was a great season. Not sure if it's quite tied with last, but it's close! I hate that it's so short though... what am I supposed to obsess over now?!
Maybe she said it 'cause Dexter was "being helped" by Jordan Chase and then Jordan was kinda trying hard to get Dexter back with the counseling, but Dexter didn't want to...at least that what he made Deb believe.
I thought Deb said it to mean that the persons doing the killings finally killed off all of the people that tortured those girls - obviously I could be wrong. I must be the only one that liked Lumins character. I wasn't fond of her in the beginning, but I kind of liked the idea of sidekick for Dex. I really don't want Aster and Cody back on the show - Aster's character just annoys me.
