I officially hate our real tree
Jay is stuck at work in Manhattan and now he isn't home tomorrow night or Wednesday night either. 
If our stupid tree had been fake we could have just done it yesterday when I planned to.
Instead I'm wrapping Christmas presents but its not doing much for my mood

I got all the gifts I have wrapped and only need to buy two more. They are easy ones, a dinner gift certificate for his mom and her BF and that bottle of scotch. I'm gonna take your guys' (like that english) advice and ask the liquor store for a suggestion.
I invited my best friend over for dinner tomorrow cuz I haven't seen her and she is gonna help me put the lights on our tree. She does it every year with her mom so she knows what she is doing! Now just what to make for dinner!

fun real tree story: DH was helping our neighbor friends get their real tree situated in their stand thing and while holding it a spider crawled up his arm. He squealed and threw their christmas tree. I could not stop laughing...
