Re: It's Tuesday Randoms
I hate handwashing with a passion.
The last one we bought was a cheap one - I plan on splurging this time around.
What's broken on yours? Have you gotten a quote to get it fixed?
I'm not sure what's wrong - I turned it on, and it smelled hot. Also, the water didn't drain out of it, and the dishes felt coated.
I just didn't mess with it. I had some budget issues right around then, and decided to pay off other bills before I delt with it.
Funny story - My boss's son was house-sitting, and he didn't know it was broke, and tried to use it. He thought he broke it, so my boss came over to try and fix it. Like a typical man, he rummaged through all of my stuff, and made a bigger mess, without fixing anything.
I and I don't blame you - I'd get a decent dishwasher also.
For me, it's just easier to handwash - I grew up that way - my mom still doesn't have a dishwasher.
I do have a dishwasher on the list, it's below new flooring.
One thing to consider when you get a new one, will your current dishes fit well in it? Sounds dorky, but I wish I would have brought a set of dishes with me when we were looking, because while I love all the bells and whistles on ours, our dishes don't fit nearly as well as they did in the crappy one that came with the house.
Oh, Good Point.
