Favorite carol? Joy to the World is my favorite religious song, but The Christmas Song (as sung by Nat King Cole) is actually my favorite song
Favorite dish? I LOVE peppermint flavored stuff, so all the peppermint and dark chocolate seasonal stuff floats my boat. I also love cherries and chocolate, and that's more common around this time of year too.
Favorite dessert? See above. I usually don't like our Christmas meal--when I spend it with my relatives.
Favorite gift received? Back when I was little, I got a pink and blue dollhouse that I thought was the BEST. It's now sitting in my basement.
Favorite gift given? I gave my mom some Crate and Barrel Thanksgiving plates once that she absolutely LOVED. She's hard to shop for and it was a total surprise.
Any other favorites? I definitely love the music of Christmas. The religious and non-religious songs just fill me with happiness. Last year, Dh and I went and saw these guys in concert www.sncmusic.com when they came to Raleigh and they were just the BEST. We hadn't been in the Christmas spirit until then. They are coming to Raleigh Friday and Saturday and I'm crushed that I can't go, due to work.
