Where did you take your Santa pics?

I want to take DS to get his pic taken with Santa, but I can't find anywhere that is reasonably priced. All the Westcor malls have the cheapest package of $15.99, which is for 1 5x7. AND they said you can't take your own pic!

Where did you take your kid? How much did you pay and were you allowed to take your own pic? TIA.

  • I know random but Bass Pro Shop has a Santa and he is free. You can take your picture with him but I am not sure if they provide the picture of you can with your camera. I'd give it a try though.

  • yeah i was going to say bass pro shop. we took dominic there to meet the easter bunny. i'm almost positive that they let you take your own pictures, although we didn't that time.

we went on sunday over here on a free horse drawn carriage ride with santa with a food or toy donation. it was really cute, and they let you take your own pictures (or you paid $13 and they gave you a disc with pictures they take). sucks that dh messed with the camera settings the night before, didn't tell me and all the pictures turned out horrible so i'm pissed.

last year we went to the citadelle plaza in glendale and they let you take your own pictures, but you did have to purchase the cd of the ones they took. we paid $15

santa prices are nuts at the mall.

  • Isn't it horrible that they charge an arm and a leg? We've taken Nolan twice. Once was at a craft show in November that my mom and I went to. It was $20. RIP OFF!!! And we just took Nolan again this past weekend for free at my husbands work, which was free. Now that's more like it. I feel really bad for the kids whose parents really don't have the money to take their kids see Santa. Not sure why they feel the need to rip people off.
