As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Hidden remote control doodad
I am looking for something, but have no idea what it's called. It's some kind of sensor device that you attach to your entertainment electronics (TV, DVD player, PS3, etc.. You have the sensor out in the open. You can hide those devices behind cabinet doors and still be able to use a remote.

You can get a universal remote, something like this:

Or some type of IR (infrared) or bluetooth remote.
