Ugh this sucks!

I have to fly out to Colorado with DH in almost a week for a week and I am catching a terrible cold. Sigh... I feel like I was just sick 2 weeks ago Sad Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of a cold super fast? I really need it to be gone by this weekend but I don't see that happening Crying

  • Zicam! That stuff is the best. It is a little weird/uncomfortable but it usually does the trick to get rid of a cold.

Good luck! I hope you feel better soon!

  • i agree with the zicam recommendation - dh used it last week and it worked like a charm for him. hope you get to feeling better so you can enjoy one of my favorites states in THE WORLD!!
  • Drink lots of water to flush it out of your system.  Lots of fruit and veggies too!  I've never tried Zicam so I can't say anything about it.

  • Zicam is awesome but you need to start taking it immediately - once you're already full fledged sick it doesn't really work. Also DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT drink orange juice w/ Zicam. I did that once b.c I figured why not do everything I can, and my stomach was so torn up from all the acidity I would have rather just had the cold!

Also are you sure it's a cold? Since you keep getting sick maybe it's something like bronchitis where you need an antibiotic. Might be worth visiting the doctor soon.
