I'm having a rough morning and could use a laugh.
Re: Put amusing things here.
I found Buddha's student story amusing.
I don't have a whole lot of amusing, but I'll say that Connor has now picked up telling me "Umm, not right now, later, maybe tomorrow" when I ask him to do something he doesn't want to do.
HT - Thank you for cracking me up. Can you remember why Will had the bag on his head? I've forgotten.
Wendy - Will has started putting his hand up and saying, "Just a minute, just a minute," when we ask him to start cleaning up before bed time. And if we're asking him to do something he really doesn't want to do (or to stop doing something he does want to do), he says, "Don't say some words at me!" Lorne and I then aggravate him by saying things like, "Some words at you!" or "Some words at...Daddy!" We're good parents.

Someone random said you had an ugly baby and I was trying to reduce his offensiveness.
I have a somewhat amusing story: yesterday was Miles' 1 yr doctor's appointment. While I was holding him and talking to the doctor, Miles decided to grab my nose and refused to let go. So I had to finish my whole discussion with the doctor while trying to get him to release my nose and stop him from shoving his fat little fingers up my nostrils.
Also, Jason and I had a debate yesterday about typing of all things. I put two spaces after a period and he told me that is old and dated and makes my writing look unhip. I told him most of my writing is, by nature, unhip, regardless of my typing style.

It's a good thing my circle of trust is as giant as my vagina. That only leaves a couple people out. - Cali
I feel like I read somewhere that modern word processing software automatically adds in the appropriate amount of space when you hit the space bar once after a period, but now that I think about it, it's entirely possible that I made that up. Anyway, I have the same debate with Lorne, except I'm the one spacer and Lorne is the two spacer.

Sorry, double-spacers. It's not just the hip thing to do, it's standard according to both AP and MLA styles.

In fact, if you're sending a document for publication to someone, it's just impolite to double-space: http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/spaces-period-end-of-sentence.aspx
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
I realize it may seem tedious to record your entire life on video, but I feel like I've been wronged in some way that I have never seen a video of Will saying, "Don't say some words at me!"
You people and your lack of hilarious b!tchy kid videos are really quite selfish.

Next time he's cranky I'll pull the camera out and see if I can catch it. It's pretty funny. Sometimes "don't say some words at me" is coupled with collapsing on the floor because whatever words we said at him are just too much for him to handle.
Lila has a cold and woke up with morning grinning and happy, but with snot caked across her face from one ear to the other. i laughed like the bad parent I am.
I'll try to get pictures for you tomorrow, Fenton. (this is a lie)

I don't think I posted this - Will singing Doe a Deer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yTYRSfQZfk
And this is a little old, but Will watching the World Series lineups being announced is also amusing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-De_Kpqeao

Thank you for bringing this into my life.
Here is a video of Ian the first time I discovered him standing on his school bus.
I stopped filming when I thought he was going to fall off, then picked it up again a second later, when he did fall off.
Laugh at my stupidity. The other day when I got the sephora giftcard in my e-mail from Hezz, my first thoughts were "A gift card?...what? From.. I think that's Hezz's real name. Why would she be sending me a gift card? IS THIS SOME KIND OF SCAM? I'd better tell her!"

Unless the change is imposed on me from above at work, I will be a double spacer 4lyfe.

Things like that are such a personal decision, they are absolutely nobody else's business. I am not even watching Harry Potter myself because I don't think witch craft is something I want to put in front of my eyes. DD will certainly not be watching it either!
