Back from Jamaica!!!!

Hi Y'all!!!

I am back from our awesome honeymoon!!!! We stayed at Couples Tower Isle & we seriously had the best time in the world. The staff were the most amazing people we have met - all super nice & accommadating & always about putting us first without making us feel like we were putting them out. The entertainment was awesome too - they always had something going on at night and during the day which kept us occupied when we werent lounging on the beach!! We did some excursions - Dunn's River Falls (absolutely gorgeous!), Catamaran Cruise, glass boat cruise, aqua bikes (all included in the price of the resort!). There were a lot more that we wish we would have done, but our main goal was to relax and just hang out with each other - and that's exactly what we did!

The weather was the only down fall and I use that phrase lightly. It rained two (2) nights and some scattered showers that lasted maybe 10 mins tops. The rain at night lasted awhile longer but it was nothing that could have ruin our trip. And it didnt seem to bother anyone else either. My hair, however did not like the rain or the humidity at all. I am pretty sure I looked like Monica (from Friends) in a few pictures but at the end of the day, but it really didn't seem to bother me.

The one thing I could have done without was ALLLLLL the travelling. Each way, we flew from Phx to Charlotte and then to Jamaica. And to top it off, the resort is about 90 mins away from the airport. We pretty travelled for 1/2 day. Our shuttle driver stopped at some hole in the wall on our way there for all us to get some beers, so that helped pass the time.

The resort is a little smaller, which I loved. But Couples does have other resorts that are bigger in size. I would definitely recommend this resort (and any other Couples resort - each one has different things to offer).

If you want to know anything more, just ask!! I am more than willing to share Big Smile

Re: Back from Jamaica!!!!

  • sounds like you had an amazing time.

I know all about the traveling We've been to St Marrten a few times and love the carribean. Every other beach you go to will be crap in comparison now.

I'll have to remember couples resorts because it sounds like you got a lot for your money. Glad your honeymoon was everything you wanted and relaxing

  • Sounds like you had a great time! We have yet to take a big honeymoon. The one we did have was the night after our wedding we went up to Estes Park, CO just about 20 min West of where we got married and stayed 2 nights. I was finishing college and we couldn't take a real long honeymoon. Can you send me info on how you booked your honeymoon? Was it fairly expensive? So glad you had a great time! Thanks in advance!
