What are some of your favorite
go-to gift ideas, particularly for people who have everything/are hard to shop for, or who you may not know well?
I've got a few people on my list who I'm stumped about. Some are family for whom I'm trying to think of something different. And some are people like neighbors/coworkers who I want to get a little something for, without it being lame or expensive.
I'll take any and all ideas! Even suggestions of things you've received as gifts that you never would have thought of getting for yourself.
Re: What are some of your favorite
- small gift - the candied chocolate covered figs from Trader Joes, they are selling for twice the price on Zingermans.com (gourmet foods store/deli/bakery in MI with online store) $7 I think
- for some family that I'm having trouble with I'm going with some Zingermans baked goods baskets or some gourmet foods items
- love the Bliss hand cream - 2 small travel sized tubes are $11, or a bigger tube is $18 from Sephora
- nice slippers from LLBean
Gift cards! Target, Visa, Pottery Barn, William sonoma....
Are these people you know? Women or men? how much are you wanting to spend?

We received a gift last year that really touched my heart. My cousin gave us a gift card for a charitable donation. It was from a website that you purchase the card from and the receivers get to go online and select which organization they want the donation to go to. You get the write off and they get to contribute to a cause/organization they believe in. I think it is a great idea for the person/people who have everything, but you want give something to.
Personally...I also have to add in a little tangible something for the person too....sooooo, I'd probably add in some tea or coffee...a small book...candy/chocolate....or maybe a token from a favorite team or show.
