I've never made it before, but I'm baking it in the oven right now and have high hopes... I'm topping it with a bolognese sauce. ***fingers crossed***
Re: Making spaghetti squash
OK. Did NOT like spaghetti squash as a spaghetti sub. Totally different texture and taste. I knew it'd be somewhat different but everyone claims the taste is pretty subtle. I completely disagree.
But since I still had a ton left, today I mixed the squash with leftover salmon, spinach, onion and seasonings and made little pancakes. They weren't bad. They tasted just like salmon cakes (but healthier!). I think this is my new use for spaghetti squash...
