WOW, I was gone all yesterday to finish my Christmas shopping and then this is my first time today (3:00pm)because I had to go to the dentist and I go back through all the wonderfully drama filled posts!?! What the heck happened! I am glad I wasn't envolved in the spending post, yall would have been flamming me left and right.
Anyways I have some nasty stuff to tell yall, I have had this ball/lump thing growing on my gums behind my left molar for the last two days, (I assumed it was a wisdom tooth trying to come thru) well last night in the middle of the night it bursted or popped!! It got about the size of a pea. So gross I know, it let out a watery puss kind of stuff all night I had to go rinse my mouth every 30 minutes. I call the dentist this morning to make an appointment and went in around 12 this after noon and they tell me my wisdom tooth was trying to come through but it is growing at an angle and hitting my other molars and it caused a cyst. So anyways I have 3 of my wisdom teeth dropped and ready to be removed. I have no dental insurance, I can sign up for it at work only one time a year (august) and it's only about 6 dollars a month, I just haven't done it because I typically have healthy teeth. I won't get them removed until they start hurting me but I'm afraid that is going to be soon and I know the surgery will at least if not more 1600. And ofcourse this happens around the holidays. I just had to vent because I feel SO stupid that I didn't get dental insurance a long time ago.
Re: Gone for 2 days...
eeewwwwww! that is kinda gross!
hahahaha
I just went to the dentist yesterday too....just a cleaning and x-rays though.
$6 a month for dental is great! You're right, you probably should have signed up for it. Oh well...too late now.
Can they put you on a payment plan?

I feel for you, but for $6 bucks?!?! I'm paying $100 per month for mine and DH's dental. I don't go to the dentist as often as I should
but I still like having the insurance just in case something were to happen.
Thanks a lot for posting this...you reminded me that I need to go back to the dentist to finish some of my work...sigh.
I know I should have got it, I am kicking myself right now. It's really cheap, but it doesn't cover a lot of stuff, but it's better than not having any at all.
P.S. I just went to the post office and mailed my SS gift, one day before the deadline, thats me!!
