Hi Ladies!! It's been a long time, and I have a question
my parents bought DD a play house for Christmas, complete with window boxes. I'm unsure about what I want to plant in them. I was thinking about herbs in case she decides to sample them, but I'd really like some flowers to make it look better. Any suggestions for non-toxic (maybe even edible) flowers that would do well in a flower box in zone 7. Thanks!

Pansies and violas are edible, and you can plant them right now. For something trailing, try oregano. It may be difficult to find right now, but once planted it will probably be evergreen in your area. It has tiny leaves so the scale would be good for your purposes.
