Well honestly I've never seen him clean shaven, so I prefer the beard to the 'stache. He does usually keep it trimmed and neat. Here's an old pic to give you an example.

ETA: whoa sorry. I've never posted a pic in a post since the format change..sorry for the giantness and doubleness.

I 100% prefer Zane with a beard to clean shaven. He looks WEIRD with no facial hair.
congrats on the pregnancy! when are you due?
and the stache alone makes him look like he is 20 years older....and a child molester
Thank you! I'm due May 11th.
I think it makes him look a lot older too. I can't believe you remember his name, HT (unless I'm being dumb). The beard is almost back and it's been about 10 days. I wonder if he'll break out just the 'stache for Halloween next year though.

Congrats, Sparrow!
I like Mike with a beard too.
Thank you! I am particularly pleased with my due date because it gives me extra maternity leave. I only have to use around 5-6 weeks of my paid leave and then it's summer break.

What kind did you get? I love getting diapers in the mail. So fun!

Congratulations!
Prefolds and covers work well for infant stage because they don't move around as much so you have time to work with them. We used them. The only issue we had is they hold moisture against the skin and can make the baby a little rashy, so a stay dry liner or using lots of something like Alba unpatroleum jelly as a barrier is helpful.
If you ever have any questions, let me know.
Thanks, I will. I'm going to have to get that jelly.
I was pretty overwhelmed with all the options at first. I was so sure we'd go the AIO route, but after talking to a lady at CD store here I realized I liked pockets better. I figured prefolds/covers would also be good for infant stage because it would mostly be Arthur and me changing those diapers. I'm thinking pockets for when I have to go back to work in the fall.

i love the jelly. That and CA baby are my go-to creams.
There are a lot of options. But I think it is best to diversify your stash until you know what works best for you. i have a little bit of everything (pockets, AIOs, one size, sized, wool, fitteds, snaps, aplix) and love it all for different reasons.
But my hands down favorite diaper is Rumparooz. So if you decide to go that route, check them out.
