Ugh Tomorrow

So tomorrow I go see my new lady doc and I'm super nervous about it. I loved my doc back home and I just hate that I can't go to her. This is something I have to do but I'm just nervous I won't like the new one or she will be rude to me or something and its got me going crazy. I think now that we are ttc I'm taking this new doctor thing a little too seriously because I want to find somebody that I'm completely comfortable with and won't think I'm stupid when I ask a million question because most likely they will deliver my baby. DH is like are you going to be like the girl in Knocked Up going to a hundred doctors? Ugh sometime guys just don't understand.

Good luck!  I know exactly what you mean b/c I still haven't found a good primary doctor here yet.  I think I am going to go to DH's b/c even though I didn't like him when I had to take DH in, DH says he's a good doc.

I did luck out and found a great OB/GYN practice from a friend, but I that's been the only one, we're switching dentists too, lol!

I know how you feel. I loved my doctor back in Tenn. and miss him terribly. He worked with my mom and I was so comfortable with him. I finally had to bite the bullet and go to someone here in GA though and I am still hating that. I keep consulting with my old doctor about this TTC stuff because my new one is a moron when it comes to it. I am sure it will be fine. It can not be as bad as you are imagining it to be. Goodluck!!

Exactly!!! I'm having a feeling that we are going to have problem conceiving and I just want somebody who knows what they are talking about. I'm seriously going to stay in contact with my old doc just because I trust what she says..

LOL I also haven't found a primary doc or a local dentist (just go to the one back home when we are there).  I so need to get this doc thing together LOL

Good Luck! It is best to meet her now rather than after you get pg. I asked my family doctor for recommendations for a OB/GYN since we were still new to the area and I was newly pg and scared out of my mind. I did end up at a great OB group and was very happy with the office staff.

Good luck!!! Luckily I love my Dr. now but I didn't like my last one so much. She was nice enough but there was something missing I feel lucky that I found her right before we started trying.

I go to a family practice and my doctor does it all - regular doctor, ob/gyn.  It's nice to have 1 doctor for it all.  I really like her and the 2 other doctors in the office I have seen at the practice when mine was on maternity leave and vacation.
