What do you all have planned for this weekend?

I hope everyone has a great Friday! I'm home today to keep a watchful eye on Dewey while he recovers (he doesn't think he needs to stay calm and is constantly in the tree!).

Good Morning!  I don't know how much of a weekend I'm going to get but at least I won't have to work!

Tonight, I'm going to make 18 mini loaves of pumpkin bread, start making oreo truffles, clean and drink too much and collapse.

Saturday, finish oreo truffles, go to the store, get quarters, do laundry, wrap presents.

Sunday, we're going to brunch JT's family and then back to his grandmother's for a yankee swap and hopefully home before it snows.  I need to try to finish up an afghan in the weekend some how. 

I'm ready for 2011.

I absolutely need to finish my Christmas shopping.

I also want to my baking, for Christmas and for treats for work. I am thinking of making some fudge, some cookies and some mini loaves of some kind of bread.

Good morning!!

I have a very busy weekend. We have 2 family christmas's to go to. Plus my birthday is Saturday and we are going to celebrate that too.

I have 3 posters left to grade (which I needed to have done an hour ago - oops), 31 term papers, 31 presentations, and misc homeworks to grade, before I can tally my final grades.

If by some miracle I get all that done before grades are due on Monday, I have to clean this house (it is officially at tornado status now) before I can deep clean.

I also have to complete my parents' quilt - I have 3 blocks out of 42 done so far.

And come up with a menu for Christmas dinner.  Bake Christmas cookies.

Tonight, I will probably have to work late (even though I was supposed to have today off) and then meet up with Justin at an engagement celebration/happy hour. Tomorrow, Justin has to go out and do some shopping and I'll probably do some cleaning. That night, we have a Christmas party and then Sunday is my birthday, so we are going to a nice dinner and I may get a prenatal massage during the day.

Despite having lots of baking to do and presents to wrap, I'll be spending my weekend in this dark corner called my office. I've been sick so much that they've taken me off salary and I'm now on hourly, so that means in order to get paid at the end of the month, between yesterday (when I switched to hourly) and Sunday evening (since cut-off for payroll is Monday morning), I have to put in at least 32 hours to even get paid 1/3 of my regular pay! Ugh. Not exactly how I'd like to spend the last weekend before Christmas, not to mention that when my office is CLOSED between Dec 24 and Jan 4 and the rest of the staff gets a free holiday, I have to work regular hours in order to get paid. Merry Christmas!....vent over.

I have a few more things to finish up for work then I have to finish laundry and start packing. We leave tomorrow for CO to visit family for the holiday. Thank goodness I was able to work from home today. I would have been a stress case had I gone in to work today...
