Costa Rica?
OK, now we are leaning towards Costa Rica for our vacation. Has anyone been there? If so I'd love to hear places to see, stay, etc. Thanks ladies!

I looked into planning a vacation there a few years back and it looked awesome. There are lots of non-resorty places you can stay that are fairly inexpensive. From what I rememeber there is one part that is more beachy (which has more of the resorts) and then other parts that are more rainforest, volcano, adventurey parts. When I was planning to go there, we were going to stay in a couple of different parts.

I have done a ton of research on Costa Rica. It was originally where DH & I wanted to go for our Honeymoon.
places like the Peace Lodge look really really cool!
I looked into staying at a couple different spots for a few days at each stop. Peace Lodge was the first, then Arenal (tons of resorts to choose from), & then to the beach in Manuel Antonio. Costa Verde II was the place I looked into at the beach. Christine, A nestie from a long long time ago stayed there for her wedding & raved about it.
I don't think I kept all of my notes on everything.... but that's what I can remember off the top of mt head.

I went about 7 years ago-but Tabacon hot springs, manuel antonio and arenal were wonderful.
yay!!! Im so excited you're thinking about it, please email me lisa and so i can give you my # and we can chat about it. DH lived in CR for a year and I was there for a while too. We still have tons of friends who live there and own hotels.
