Natural Hair mask recipes?
Hey ladies! I'm a luker who needs some help. Im in desperate need of help with my dry wintery hair! Im looking for a hair mask with olive oil or all natural oils only. Does anyone have a recipe for this? I found one on Martha Stewart.com but I'm wanting something I can make at home as opposed to buying. Ideas?
Re: Natural Hair mask recipes?
I know tons!!!
Mash an avocado, mix it with about 1tbs honey. Then saturate your hair with it, cover with saran wrap, blow dry it until it's warm, then just let it sit for 15 minutes. Unwrap and rinse!
Mash 1 banana, with 1 tsp almond oil, cover hair, let sit for 20 mins.
For itchy scalp, i use 1cup of apple cider vinegar (i get raw un-pasturized from gnc. $6.99) and just run it over my hair and massage my scalp a little. Then i rinse it out with cool water.
Olive oil or coconut oil is amazing for damaged/very dry hair. I use enough to cover my hair. (about 1/2 cup. It's very long but fine, and thin) warm it up, then saturate my hair, pile it on my head, clip it, and rinse it out once it's cool. I use a bit of shampoo to help get most of it out. I do this before a day i don't have much to do, because it can look greasy, but the day after that you will fall in love with your hair all over again!
I hate the mayonnaise pack, but it will do.
An egg yolk rinse will bring shine. Rinse with COLD water.
1tbs of water mixed in one liter of water used as a rinse will prevent frizz.
Oh and also, black tea adds shine to brunette and darker hair, roobios tea brings out red tones, and of course lemon water, and then a sit in the sun (or blow dryer) lightens blondes.
Hope this helps
) oh and also, whipped egg white will shrink your pores if you apply it to your face, and leave til it dries!
