Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board, been lurking a little. I am hosting a little Secret Santa dinner party for 4 of my girlfriends on Monday, and I am kind of stuck on what to make.
I want to do something simple and not too overwhelming, but still yummy and comforting. I was thinking some sort of pasta dish would be good. I'm doing artichoke dip and some other apps, salad and dessert, but I'm stuck on the main course.
Any ideas and/or recipes would be greatly appreciated! TIA!!
Re: Meal/Recipe Ideas Needed
Since I have not a drop of Italian in me, I don't know how to make anything other than spaghetti or frozen lasagna
Frozen lasagna doesn't sound bad, IMO.
But I'd probably serve pork tenderloin with this seasoning. People go crazy over it and it's just as simple as following the directions on the packet.
I might also do breaded chicken or pork chops. (And, gasp, I do Shake n Bake. And double gasp, people always say it's delicious and ask for the recipe lol.)

I think the pasta idea is great. I usually do a stuffed shell with chicken. Its easy and relatively healthy since adding the chicken minimizes the amount of cheese.
If you're not stuck on pasta, I think you could also do a heartier soup in the crockpot, which would be easy. Maybe a white chicken chili?
This is a very yummy pasta, and I don't like spicy things. You can control what spices you put in.
