Christmas Tablescape...

DH and I are hosting his family for Christmas Eve dinner (which is when their family does the big dinner, games, gifts, etc.). We are having a wonderful 3-course dinner and I am trying to figure out the tablescape! What do you guys think of this tablecloth with the placemats? Do they even go together? I'm horrible at this kind of stuff!

Re: Christmas Tablescape...

  • Okay, I am looking at it and thinking that solid red with the placemats would be much better.

  • What if instead of a placemat, you used a charger... like a silver one, like this.  I don't know what color dishes you have, so I'm not sure it would work.  Also, what type of centerpieces will you be doing?
