I've been living at my present address for just over a year now. For some reason, we've had so many issues where our address doesn't show up right in GPS', on mapquest or other direction sites. Now our current issue is with UPS. 3 times now we've had packages arrive late because UPS has to "locate the correct house number". The address we give them is correct!! I don't understand why after they've had the issue a few times they don't do something so it doesn't happen again. The problem now is that I threw a Premier Jewelry party a few weeks ago, in which a few people bought Christmas gifts, including myself, and even though the package was out for delivery on Thursday, I still haven't received it! I plan to give them a call if I haven't heard from them by lunch time but now I'm getting all worried about getting all the jewelry out to people by Christmas.
I know, there's not much I can really do about it but sitting here at work, waiting until I can give them a call is killing me! Why must my address be a difficult one?
Re: I need to vent
Was your house a new construction when you moved in? We have the same problem at our house, and I think it's because it was just built. Sometimes when I sign up for things online it tells me our address is invalid. Ugh, very frustrating, I understand!!
And that is frustrating that it would happen again and again with UPS. Maybe call their customer service and make sure your address is in their system correctly? I hope your package arrives today!! Good luck
That is ANNOYING. Hope you got ahold of them and got things worked out.
DH and I live in an apartment - there are about 8 buildings with 3 townhouses apiece in our "complex". The buildings are 20-30 years old, and I have times when I order online and/or have things shipped to us that the address isn't recognized, even though it's been in existence for AGES. It's so frustrating sometimes!
