Looking for a new church - Winchester
My husband and I are having a hard time finding a church in the Winchester area that suits us. I was raised Episcopalian, him Methodist. We've been going to a non-denominational church for the past few years but would like to become more involved in a more traditional church, a place we can raise our future children in the ways of the church (acolytes, crucifers, etc). We are having trouble however finding a traditional church that has any type of bible study, sunday school, etc for young adults. We are looking for somewhere that could cater a little to the 25-35 range (we're both 27). Anyone have any suggestions? We would like to stay close to Winchester both for commuting reasons and also so we can become more involved in OUR community. Thanks!
Re: Looking for a new church - Winchester
DH & I go to the First United Methodist in Andover (Lexington) when we go to church. We live in Winchester as well...but if you take Colby Rd to Todds Rd, so it isn't very far.
As far as young adult programs....your best bet would be the First United Methodist in Down Town Lexington. It's a sister church to the one in Andover-so some people attend both churches. DH & I have gone to both. Our issue with a lot of churches is they seem to cater to an older demographic.
