Morning, everyone!

I thought I'd start a new post for people to post what they're pondering/thinking/anticipating/looking for this week.

My Monday Musings...

(1) My apartment needs cleaning and I've got some last minute wrap-up work to do, but all I want to do is watch movies, drink coffee, and listen to the rain.

(2) I'm starting to get back into this whole healthy eating/exercise thing. I know most people wait until January 1, but I figured I should start now (hence the ticker -- I actually decided/started trying to lose weight at the end of November, but now I'm more serious about it...)

(3) I'm SO excited for Friday/Saturday and for my upcoming trip over NYE.

What's on your mind?

WAITING SUCKS.

That's really all on my mind because I feel like my life's up in the air until I know either way about this job. Going crazy.

I am so glad we did not go to visit the IL's this weekend.  DH and I relaxed at home almost the entire time.  We accomplish as much as we wanted to but we rested so that was the important thing.

My co-worker has the maturity and professionalism of a 3 year old.

I am really really nervous about this upcoming promotion possibility.  There have been a few in the past that I applied for and did not get but there is a lot more prep and behind the scenes work going on for this one so there is a lot more pressure.

I'll chime in

We are leaving on Wednesday to drive up to LA to spend Christmas with my SIL (who lives up there) and the rest of DH's family (who are all flying in). I am excited to spend Christmas with family, but I am also anxious since it is DD's first Christmas and ultimately a big deal for us, but my FIL has a clear and unwavering favouritism for my nephew. It irks me. So much sometimes that I don't want to be around him. Just once, I would like my daughter to be the center of attention, even if it is just for one stinking day.

That turned into a mini-vent. Oops. Hope everyone has a great holiday

I'm having a mini-anxiety attack! I just got cc'ed on an email my soon to be boss sent out to my new office, letting them know when I'd be there and to start routing work to me on that date. It's kind of freaking me out! The job change hasn't felt very real yet, and now it is! This also makes me nervous because I was hoping for a little bit of transition time before the work piled in!

The idea that I'm starting a new job the day after I get home from 5 days with the inlaws is not helping either.

SBS, you've inspired me to put a ticker in my siggy.  I've been trying to get better about making healthy choices since the m/c...using the time to get myself in a better place if you will.  This weekend I slipped backwards some.  Not anymore.  Back.On.Track.

Christmas will be just the two of us this year.  Pluses and minuses to that, definitely going to be hard to not be with family (we've always gone to one side or the other).

I'm having some major frustrations with job hunting.  Trying to expand where I'm looking and get more aggressive...but its a horrible time of year to be looking for a job.  Kind of depressing that I couldn't get so much as a PT job for the holiday shopping season...

Yes. When you update it on MyFitnessPal, it updates everywhere you have it linked (siggy, blogs, etc.)
